From the sixth and final week in our series "Jesus and the Awakening to God-Consciousness" with Deepak Chopra and Rev. Wendy Craig Purcell:

Where do you see evidence of love and forgiveness in the world?

In what circumstance or situation could bringing more love and forgiveness to a situation bring a higher level of healing to the situation?

What can each of us do asindividuals to be more loving and forgiving? Be specific about what you can do and in what area or situation you would like to focus your actions.

Honesty is the path of love and forgiveness. Like a sound wave honesty opens up new terrain as we travel inner space. That sound gains volume as we fly higher and dive deeper. Honesty is our sound centered compass that helps us make adjustments and keeps us moving in the right directions.

Where there is honesty there is light shining through. One is porous, open, genuine. I think our newly elected President, Barack Obama, is a good example of one who shines love and forgiveness.

Honesty is a healing path pointing one forward. It's guidance is toward the healing of wounds and unhealthy patterns. Honesty is multi-dimensional and leaves no stone unturned. If one is on the path of honesty one is comitted to going to the gut-wrenching core of grief that turns those stones upside down and inside out. Regurgitating platitudes and repeating mantras will not take one to any depth. Love and forgiveness call for a new kind of warrior: those that raise up and glorify that which is whole and holy.
