Looking forward to hearing your show Richard!

Here is the Playlist for Richard's show this afternoon...

I didn’t start our this program thinking it would be themed but after I had selected the songs for the playlist I saw that there are three distinctive themes in the songs I’d picked, so poof, we have a themed show. The first segment, songs have to do with our unity and oneness, the second segment is all about personal transformation, and the final set is what I call the “mystical set” which are songs that deal with the intangible mystery that is God.

Enjoy!
Richard Mekdici

BLUE BOAT HOME – Peter Mayer

NO ONE GETS TO HEAVEN (If Anybody Else is Left Behind) – Tom Kimmel
ALL OF US – Tia McGraff
ALL THESE ATOMS – Greg Tamblyn

SEGMENT 2
SPREAD YOUR WINGS AND FLY – Leroy White
I WON’T WORRY ANYMORE – Cozy Sheridan
MID AIR - 3:24 - Chris Willis – Richard Rique Patire
THIS JOY – Marcy Baruch

SEGMENT 3
LIFE’S A MYSTERY – Cliff Rubin
GOD IN EVERYTHING – Jack Fowler
IT’S ALL HAPPENING RIGHT NOW – Eddie Watkins Jr.
I CHOOSE LOVE – Shawn Gallaway Take a look at the amazing inspiring video of this song on Utube

So many traditional "Sunday" song lyrics have been adapted to more of a Unity-type idea. Like leaving out the concepts of hell and wicked people and all those references that used to be the vernacular of the 19th century! Is there a central place I might find the newer lyrics to songs? I can make up my own, and do, but I wonder if I'm reinventing wheels if some churches are already doing songs a more uniform way. Just wondering! :)

Got a tip on another internet radio station with positive music I thought I'd share:

Go to the channel "Lift Me Up" at www.TheRadio.com
Direct channel link: http://theradio.com/Channel/LiftMeUp
There's a number of songs from the PMA (Positive Music Association) catalog that they play on this channel, along with more popular, feel-good songs, from the Beatles to John Mayer.

John, I can recommend the radio player over at Positive Music Association http://www.positivemusicassociation.com/radio.php - a great way to discover great music and artists.

The player stopped working on my macbook for some odd reason. But today my macbook was stolen, and when I tried it on an old mac mini the player worked! Go figure...

So now I'm "boosting morale" with great music and trying to find a way forward even without my beloved macbook ("Kids! Back up, always back up!" Learning the hard way as I go...)

I love this music. I find that I play the show, whenever it runs, on my computer. I'm wondering if all my old favorites (R&B old school) are not good for me to sign along to given they are almost always about heart break or someone leaving you. Is there anyway to buy CD's of this music so that I can have continuous positive music playing around the house or in my car? Much love to all of you, John

Happy New Year, Richard!
I'm thinking of your New Year's song again, and still wanting to learn it! Is it too late? (I'm a pretty quick study :-)...) I enjoyed listening to your Christmas program on the archives--you're doing a great job spreading the musical message of New Thought.
Peace and joy for all in the coming year,
Cathy

Although I have absolutely no musical ability, It is music that speaks to everyones heart and like we are each on our own path, music speaks to us each individually. The one song that I thought was speaking from Jesus was look what they done to my song. It is a reflection of how things have been turned upside down, inside out, but thanks to Unity it may be getting the message out so much more clearly. Seeing all as children of God, Love
