A Goddess Awakens

She wakes from a forgetful, trancelike state
Unconsciously rolls over
and feels an embryo inside
Forgetting her divine power and wisdom
Sophia calls to her
She walks out the door
Tripping over the obstacles in her path
Shedding tears for time lapsed
Embracing her divine feminine

I found my inner artist early... I was about seven years old when I started to understand my purpose here... but did not bring her public for quite a while. By twelve I was winning art awards. I studied art in college and loved that experience, but it was really when I was in my 40's that I pitched myself into it and began designing. Today, she speaks to me and makes adjustments on my vision, showing me beauty in all things. I've gone a bit wild with digital cameras these days and have balanced my writing and business with photography and film work.
How important it is to love that artist and writer within! It seems that a shift happened when I let that inner self show me how loved I am... it just started overflowing with creativity.
