About Me:

I'm a spirtual inspirational writer/author interested in helping people to move past victim thinking. I've been a coach to high-profile figures from the sports and entertainment industry for over 25 years and also work in the areas of filmmaking and photography.

I have been a radio and television producer, host, and guest (many times)... all of which I still love.

I've had the honor to be featured in several books for my work:

"Only Human" by young genius Neil Lee Tompsett, "Bare Tree" by Virginia writer and poet Katherine A. Borges, and most recently "Who Do You Think You Are?" by best selling author, Keith Leon. Forward by Jack Canfield.

My favorite guests at my KCEO San Diego radio show, "The Extraordinary Thinking Hour with Lee Travathan and Celebrity Guests", are Byron Katie, David Brin - author of "The Postman" made into film by Kevin Costner , John-Roger "You Can't Afford the Luxury of a Negative Thought" and Mary Manin Morrissey. I have learned much from all of the above and I'm grateful.

I have been greatly blessed to be honored with my own theme song, written and produced by popular spanish composer, Jose Maria Porto, called "Lee's Theme". Many thousands are now able to enjoy his beautiful work, which was a gift from him for my 53rd birthday in 2007.

One of the most interesting and loving people I've ever met and deeply care about as a friend, artist, and extraordinary thinker : musician Julian Lennon. It is good to know that the apple did not fall too far from the tree. It is also good to know that there are beautiful souls out there not changed by celebrity. They keep their feet on the ground and remain caring and generous of heart. He stood by me when I needed him and I'll stand by him anytime he needs me.

I have also been credited on the musical CD "Anytime Anywhere" by legendary Scottish opera star Kathleen Procter-Moore for my mentorship of her career. We recently completed a feature film together shot in the US, now a top ranking hit.

And I did manage to help get one high-profile golfer to the US Open using thought transformation and visualization. I'll honor that gag order, but BOY oh BOY... was that ever a great moment to get that 'thumbs up' on air and see that smile!!! If you ever doubt that the methods work, trust me... they do! His dreams came true and that is the "blest" feeling ever!

I've attended Unity and Science of Mind churches for over 25 years across the US and was raised the daughter and granddaughter of two Methodist preachers. I feel I was blessed on all fronts. I was taught that true success is measured by how you feel about who you've been the day before when you wake up in the morning. Did you live from love? Will you today?

After 20 years of refusing to marry after a difficult divorce, a silly retired Finnish-American rock star named David "Mac Man" Maki used visualization really well and "prayed" me into his life. I married him in 2001 and he keeps me laughing each day... simply saying to everyone he meets... "Isn't she great!". I love him deeply and we've seen miracles together that can only come from letting this wise old universe guide us.

I welcome new friends here that inspire and uplift and I come here to do the same. I send blessings, love, light, and gratitude to all that visit me here.

I also hope to network in the spirit of love and joy with others here via radio and speaking, book signings, etc. I love using my books and art to help others grow their dreams and gladly donate a portion of proceeds to this effort. I love Unity and all it stands for and would love to help churches expand their reach. I no longer host radio shows myself, but I love being a guest and being a speaker to inspire and create awareness that when all is said and done, love really is the answer to all questions of the heart.

A Quick Note re: Inspirational Writings

Several people have asked if I have a newsletter. I do have an inspirational newsletter for my writings, encouragement, news, and photography updates. I put articles there now and then before they go public and do special things there, just for my subscribers.
