http://forums.delphiforums.com/UniticsUnited/start Jesus of Nazareth My Thoughts Are My Shepherds by Anna My thoughts are my shepherds,
I shall not fear;
They allow me to see the big picture,
They keep me in touch with my center,
They enlighten my soul.
And though I chose to walk
Through this valley of forgetfulness,
I will seek to remember,
For reunion with Source is my goal.
My everyday miracles they comfort me
As they remind me that I am never alone.
God has placed no enemies, only teachers,
In my world.
I was created by Love,
My cup runneth over with gratitude.
Surely peace and prosperity shall follow me
All the days of my life on this plane
And I shall dwell in the heart of the Absolute
For ever and ever.......amen.
And so it is.
So shall it be.

Go to the link above to hear me read it. A poem below about serendipity or what I call EveryDay Miracles.
The little-known secret is that in every seed of seeming tragedy
is hidden the fruit of glory and reward.
There really are no accidents!! Don't you agree?
(poem below was inspired by Unity Minister Rev. Jack Boland's
"The Secret Power of Serendipity" tape series)
As If By Magic Even as I speak these words,
I'm filled with expectation,
Hopeful in this brand new day
With my creative imagination.
Taking current happenings
That seem discordant now,
I turn them upside down and inside out,
I can't quite tell you how.
It always happens just this way,
Almost as if by magic,
I make the most amazing day
Out of one that first seemed tragic.
You can doubt the power of the Source,
In fact that is once what I did,
But soon or late you'll know the Force
And by its love be guided.
A beautiful truth it is to know
That Spirit lives within me,
Patiently waits and meditates
Each day on what it can give me.
And though I travel near and far,
I need not leave it behind,
Like a shadow on the sidewalk
It follows my heart and mind.
All at once a step ahead
And yet a step behind,
Spirit moves and I am led
To what I need to find.
This special gift that Spirit gives
Of finding hidden treasure,
Is known by just a very few,
But is life's most delicious pleasure.
namaste,
Anna

Abilene! I have a few friends that live there. Never managed to be in town on a Sunday though. :( I would love to visit Unity Abilene. Maybe one of these days!
I looked at your website. You are clearly committed to connection. It shows in all you do! Sandy
Thanks for the friend invitation, and I apologize for the slow response. I lived in Abilene in the 70's and enjoyed it. We have some other things in common too, (love of poetry, for example) so I will be watching you with interest.
Mary
