- Hi Nora, I guess you are wanting to know my experience of the SEE course. Details of the actual subjects covered can be found on the Unity website under Education follow the links. I spent 5 years studying part 1 which consists of personal development / spiritual discovery. It can be done in less time however, I did it throught a combinations of self study, seminars ,and on line courses The syllabus cover 25 modules consisting of set book , bible teachings eg; Jesus teachings in the Bible and other , Prayer Meditation, You also have the opportunity of studying one or two subjects of your choice within the 25 modules. I gained a clear perspective on my self, my beliefs, the part I play in life the list goes on............... You will received what you need when you need as you progress the studies................. If it is healing you need you will understand what it is and how to heal. If it is love you need then you will understand what love is and how to attract it ,If it is abundance you want you will understand what abundance is and how to attract it in your life.
I have now completed the first part and have decided to change course of study not to progress to becoming a licensed Unity teacher but to become a Spritual Counselor with my own practice. That is where my heart lies. I begin in the Autumn studying for a Masters in Psychosynthesis Psychology. You may know of this approach. It is well known in Europe introduced in the 17th century by an Italian Roberto Assagioli.the approach includes the mind, body, and spirit.
I enyoyed the Unity teaching because they are inclusive of other spiritualities and also it came at a time on my journey when there was need for change what I was doing was not working. Well Nora I do Hope this little taster will help you decide or not as you are guided.
