To all the people who have honored me by subscribing to my blog in the past, I wanted you to know that I am still writing. We Fear What We Don't Understand

With everything going on in our world right now, it is normal to fear the direction we are going. We long for the past. We want things to be different than they are. We want someone else to change what they are being, how they show up in our reality so that we can feel safe. We fear what we do not understand. We do not understand because we are looking at things from a low level perspective. It is like being in a forest thick with trees and thinking we will never find our way out. Yet, if we g… Continue

Where We Are Going

I have been doing some meditations lately that are “downloading” higher vibrations and it has added new wrinkles in my understanding not only of what I am doing, but where we are going. So first of all, so much of what I have been applying in my own life and teaching to others has to do with the “letting go” part of the process. It is easy to get tied up in only this aspect because the more we let go of, the better we feel. It is only when we do this work that we become conscious of all that we… Continue

What if...

I read a news headline today that said Alzheimer’s rates are going up. Every time I have seen any story on Alzheimer’s I have always wondered what if one of the reasons for this dis-ease had to do with more pain that these people wanted to remember. In having seen miracles of healing and really even dis-ease appearing out of nowhere in my own body, I know how powerful emotional energies are. I know that our bodies are a macro energy system. We take in energy in the form of food. All food has a… Continue

“Except ye become as little children...”

Jesus taught us that until we learn to see the world as little children, we cannot enter the kingdom of God. I gained some new insight on this quote that helped me learn how to apply this in my life differently than how I had understood it before. This was one of those “Aha!” moments that I get in the shower occasionally and then wonder if I will ever remember once I find my way to my computer. Fortunately, I feel this coming back to me now. So what I was shown was how often I look skeptically… Continue

Mirroring in Relationships

Once we understand that all of life mirrors our unconsciousness back to us, we realize that we don't have to change the world in order for us to feel safe, happy or loved. Once we learn to give ourselves those things, the world reflects it back to us. The difference is by then, we don't need it from others. We receive it gladly, but if someone cannot give it consistently, we feel no loss...because we have filled that need within ourselves. It is the people closest to us that mirror these aspec… Continue

Forgiveness - A Gift for Yourself

From the time we are born, our minds are looking out at the world and deciding who and what we are in relation to the people with whom we interact. Intuitively, we know how to hold onto things and let go of them when they no longer serve us. But when it comes to our emotions, we forget how natural this is for us, because few of our caretakers knew how to model this for us. And so we are not learning how to forgive. We are remembering how to do it. We are remembering why it is essential to a joy… Continue

Whatever You Can Imagine and Believe...

The title of this post is an adaptation of Napoleon Hill’s famous quote, “What the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve.” This is a wonderful day to acknowledge this wisdom as I’m sure few people other than Barack Obama believed he could become the first African-American to become President of the United States. This is a prime example how any of us can achieve anything we desire in life...if we can believe it. While Napoleon Hill’s famous book, “Think and Grow Rich” was ground… Continue

When the Meek Shall Inherit the Earth

I received some insight on this topic this morning and I believe this has to do with those people who are learning to create their lives and their world through the Law of Attraction instead of through primarily through action. For most of our recorded history, the people that have been in power are the ones who have believed and acted upon the prevailing belief of “the strongest shall survive” or “might equals right.” In our previous historical perspectives, results were valued more than the… Continue

Love Your Self

Wherever you are in this moment, is exactly where you are supposed to be No matter how things look, seem, or feel. For in a perfectly evolving universe, could it be any other way? When you know that you are doing your very best Within the circumstance of your existence... Applaud yourself! There are none to compare your Self to, and none to compete with, and there never was! When the rose and the lotus flower are side by side, Is one more beautiful than the other? When you awaken to who anContinue

Learning To Be Me

I teach what I most need to heal. While I am a Spiritual Life Coach and I teach Self-Mastery, I am still teaching what I most need to heal. I have days where all day long I feel completely at peace with who I am and what is happening in my life. Some days it requires me to really let go and choose to feel good in the face of all the things I could allow my ego to freak out about. And some days, the ego wins. I still have days where I feel worried that things will not work out, where I seek to… Continue

How Will You Let Your Light Shine in 2009?

Anyone that knows me knows that one of my favorite quotes is from Marianne Williamson's book "A Return to Love" when she speaks about our "deepest fear." This is a quote that has been used in at least two movies, in Nelsen Mandela's inauguration speech and in previous blog posts here. Here is what she says: "Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, 'whoContinue

The Veil of Illusion

What if you could create the reality you wanted easily and effortlessly? As I wrote yesterday, many of our problems stay in place because we have identified ourselves with those problems. Many of us that may have been raised in modest surroundings may feel uncomfortable to rise above that level of success or abundance because we have identified ourselves with the idea of being “poor” or “working class” or “blue collar.” Many of us suffer with different ailments and dis-eases. As someone who ha… Continue

An Act of Unconditional Love - Being the Witness For Another

Christ said that “when two or more are gathered in my name, there I am in the midst of them.” This has been a foundational statement for having more than one person pray together for a desired outcome. But how can we apply this more effectively and consistently to create our desired outcomes? We already have learned from many, many different teachers that our beliefs create our reality and that we have the power to create our desired outcomes through the Law of Attraction. One of the points… Continue

An Abundance Consciousness - Part 2

In my last post, I touched on the dissatisfaction of the ego...this idea of never having enough. We cannot just simply blame corporations or our government for acting in these ways. They are simply a reflection of our collective consciousness. We can argue with our community leaders and decry the gluttonous ways of big business, but the more we focus on what is wrong with our free marketplace and government SOP, the more problems we will see. If we are to effect change in these areas, we must… Continue

An Abundance Consciousness - Part 1

In looking at our economic “crisis” that we are having today, a question we have to ask is how did we get here? I’m not talking about who did what or looking to point fingers. I am talking about the deeper motivations that guide us to do anything we do in our lives. For anything we do, we are seeking to meet some need...typically a need we feel within us. One element that I believe is at cause here is that our ego is never satisfied. For the ego, there is never enough. I worked in the corpora… Continue

How Spiritual Life Coaching Works

Many people feel uncertain about starting something like Spiritual Life Coaching because they simply don’t understand how it works, how much it costs and most importantly what the benefits of this modality are. So I’m going to explain that today. The first thing to understand is that with the exception of seminars and workshops, all of my coaching is done over the phone. I literally have clients all over the country that I have never met, but for whom I have deep personal feelings because of t… Continue

A Paradigm Shift

For most of my life, I sought to get what I wanted in various ways. As a child, I pleaded my case for my list of toys from the Sears catalog. As I grew older and in not having the self-confidence I needed to date, I...like many of my peers turned to alcohol. Looking back, I simply cannot believe that I started drinking alcohol regularly at 16 years old. I expanded my experimentation to marijuana and even cocaine once...although it just didn’t do anything for me. I never was interested in anythi… Continue

Why I Resisted Taking Ownership For My Life

I have been studying spirituality, psychology and metaphysics for the past 18 years. I started with simple books like Norman Vincent Peale’s “The Power of Positive Thinking” and Napoleon Hill’s classic “Think and Grow Rich.” Both books were an early indication to me that I had a hand in my destiny. It wasn’t just Fate or luck that made me a success or failure. Somehow it was my choice. I used both books along with Louise Hay’s “You Can Heal Your Life” to get me past a critical health issue. Bu… Continue
